First, some background. I was excited about RISC-V when I first heard about it, because I saw the potential (that was almost 10 years ago now).
Well, recently I was scrolling Reddit and found /r/riscv. It wasn't what I was expecting. I thought there would be RISC-V computers and laptops and phones by now. Instead, it's full of people talking about low-level assembly language details and running QEMU. It's like RISC-V is perpetually stuck in the "start-up" phase.
Am I way off-base here? Is there RISC-V adoption somewhere that I'm not seeing?
